I live in lewisville texas and got in an accident. I just picked up the police report that states the accident was the other drivers fault. I also found out that my insurance company cancelled my policy two weeks prior to the accident due to me closing a bank account that i forgot was where the auto policy was auto drafting for. Please someone help me, I don't know what I need to do, who to talk to, how to get my car fixed without an insurance company to do the work.

Here's a wild idea…submit a claim to the other guys insurance company. You weren't at fault, they should pay to fix your car.

call YOUR insurance company. There may be a leniency period on your policy. It is your responsibility to maintain proper coverage on your vehicle whenever you plan to have it on the road. But i can't imagine this coming back to bite you in the ass other than MAYBE a moving violation for not having proper insurance.
