I will be 25 years old at the end of March and am currently paying around $99 monthly for insurance. I received my permit in New York when I was 16, and received my full license at 17 after taking a driver’s education course, so I’ve been a driver for nearly 8 years now. I found a better deal through GEICO with same coverage, but with a premium around the $44-$49 range monthly.
Would it be more beneficial for me to wait until I turn 25 to switch? Or should I change my insurance companies now? I haven’t been in an auto accident in 6 years (that one was no fault), and haven’t had a ticket in four years. Would the insurance change my policy’s pricing in the middle of coverage?
Ok I am a teenager that has been really down on his luck for the past 3 months (got fired, arrested, and a whole lotta other shit)…. well I have a car and was able to pay car insurance before all that happened but now I can’t afford it, I still have my State Farm insurance card so I was just wondering if I was driving and got pulled over for any reason, would they find out I don’t have insurance through their computers or just look at the card and approve and let me go on my way?
Hello, I am curious as to how my auto insurance policy would cover body damage to my car. I have comprehensive/collision coverage, as it is only a few years old and still owed by the bank. I accidentally ran into the side of my garage, and the front right side and bumper have scratches/dents in it. The nearest body shop quotes average in the 1800 dollar range for repairs, which I don’t have. Can I have my insurance cover this, with a 500 dollar deductible, and if so, will it affect my insurance rates? My insurer is California State Automobile Association. Thanks.
if im at fault would they pay for it??? its on my own vehicle thanks
I have UHC Health Insurance and Progressive Auto insurance. However, my Progressive policy does not cover Personal Injury Protection. I was in an accident last month and taken to ER for overnight stay by the police. The Police transportation bill is $500, and the ER bill is about $3800. I called progressive to ask if they will pay this, and they said no because I don’t have personal injury protection. But when I called UHC they said they will also not pay because this is due to an accident and my auto insurance has to cover this.
Does this mean I will end up paying all of this out of my pocket?
