I’ve got the cash on hand to buy a 2004-2005 Infinity G35. There are many in my area, all from large Nissan/Infiniti dealers. They are of course having an extremely hard time moving inventory. Because I am able to pay cash, I assume I have a large upper-hand here.
How do I go about doing this? Should I offer them all ridiculously low offers and take it from there? Or just make a reasonable offer and try to tag on extras? What is the best way to approach this?

I recently hydro locked the engine on my 02 Nissan frontier with water and claimed it against my insurance. The insurance company did the evaluation and decided, based on my vehicles ACV versus the cost of a replacement engine that they would replace the motor rather then pay out ‘total loss’.
The shop replaced the motor and attempted to turn it over to me, however, the check engine light is still on and throwing a misfire code so I turned it back into them and the insurance company. The insurance company said they would get it taken care of but have yet to find a shop (dealer included) that can identify the exact problem and fix it. At this point they have sunk additional money into trouble shooting and repairing issues that did not resolve the engine issue.
My question is what remedies are available to the insurance company? Since they have already authorized the repair add it was completed (but not to satisfaction) can they still cut their losses and mark it as a ‘total loss’ or are they obligated to continue to attempt to fix it? If they mark it total loss can I purchase the vehicle for salvage value or will the cost of it be adjusted to account for the repairs already completed?
also what is normal rate for a person with bad credit.
WOuld refiniancing be a good idea after a year of having the car and after paying the amount on time for one full year as well other debt owed and would that help my credit??
I am just curious and wonder if the 3 auto company collapse what would happen in today economy?
I am just wondering because i hear several things that the 3 auto company should not get any loan or bailout money because they use their money for bonuses and increase salary and flying expensive air planes and all.
I am confused about all this.
i just turned 18 and have no credit and need a auto loan i heard of a first time uyer program but i have to look more into that dos any one have any other ways i could get one
